Point me to Peosta 300K
May 1 @ 7:00 am - May 2 @ 3:00 am$15.00
This route is a small variation on the old “Eldridge North 300K” route. It eliminates most of the stretch along the river on US-52 into Bellevue. Although I always enjoyed riding that stretch when there weren’t any cars, that was seldom the case on nice Saturdays when the road would be filled with cars, motorcycles, etc., sharing the narrow, no-shoulder two lane. The route still does go through Bellevue for a short stop before pushing on North to Peosta. I’ve ridden it several times and always enjoyed the route.
Here are the details: ACP certified, 192.2 miles, 8,307 feet of climbing, ridewithgps link here.
