The 3M 600K

For 2025 I’ve selected the best routes offered out of Eldridge to create a reverse series. We should all be trained up enough by August to do a 600K and then decrease the distance as we lose daylight.

What are the 3 M’s in the moniker? Some of the towns you’ll pass through enroute to completing a successful 600K: Monticello, Maquoketa and Mechanicsville.

The first day is somewhat shorter than the “first day 400K” standard and the second day is longer as a result.

ACP certified, full route: 379.8 miles, 13,820 feet of climbing, ridewithgps route here
Day one: 221.2 miles, 8,711 feet of climbing, ridewithgps route here
Day two: 158.4 miles, 5,555 feet of climbing, ridewithgps route here
