Meander to Manchester 400K

Breaking news!

There’s road construction on the route and a road closure so we’re going to need a short detour. Fortunately, there’s a detour that’s fairly reasonable and the overall distance is only slightly longer. Here are the detour route stats: 249.3 miles (401K), 9,994 feet of climbing.

We’re reprising a route we did for the first time in 2022. The route is a counter-clockwise loop that takes us up through Monticello on the same route as our recent 300K brevet then continues on to Manchester before turning South toward Anamosa heading in the general direction of Iowa City. Then a very nice section leaving Solon through the Lake McBride/Sugar Bottom area before turning west and heading for the barn with a stop in Tipton.
