DESCRIPTION:This is a “new” route that is largely taken from day one of the 600K route. The great thing about it is 400K and 600K riders will be on the same route for almost the entire length of the ride. \nWe’re using this route in 2023 due to a road closure into Marquette. \n256 miles\, 13\,617 feet of climb\, ACP certified. DESCRIPTION:This route takes you over rolling hills and quiet roads to Ridgeway where you’ll get on the Prairie Farmer recreational trail which will take you to the first control in Cresco. From there you’ll do an out and back to Harmony\, MN and then head to Decorah. The control at Decorah is the Kwik Trip but there are several other fast food establishments there and you can visit any of them. \nLeaving Decorah you’ll be facing a couple of pretty stiff climbs on your way to Ossian before returning to West Union. \nThe route has over 5 thousand feet of climbing including some extended climbs and will have you wondering where the flat part of Iowa is! \nHere are the particulars: \nACP sanctioned\, 130 miles\, 5\,938 feet of climbing. \nRidewithgps route here \nBrevet card here \nTo register: \nTo register for this event complete the registration form below.
